Before founding Irving Capital Group, Nicholas “Nick” Yuelys was the Head of Research for a family office where he led the investment research process across all sectors and investment types. In this position he gained unique insights into the needs of high net worth individuals and the specialized solutions available to them. Prior to that role Nick worked at leading institutional investor Gabelli & Company where he started in the Operations Department, and was promoted to a Sell-Side Research Analyst at Gabelli & Company. In this role, he traveled the country, analyzing, meeting management teams and publishing research reports on electric, gas and water utilities. Nick received a degree in Finance, Accounting, and Operations Management from Boston College as well as his MBA from Columbia University where he was a member of the prestigious Heilbrunn Center for Graham and Dodd Investing’s Value Investing Program.
